record albums written by the same pair of songwriters,
Bob Gaudio and Jake Holmes?
What could go wrong?
Well, those two albums,
The Genuine Imitation Life Gazette and Watertown,
respectively,
would turn out to be the worst-selling albums ever for each artist!
