Frank and Frankie (Poor Sales Ahead!)

Hey, Frankie, it’s 1968, how about you and the boys and I each,
over the next couple years,
record albums written by the same pair of songwriters,
Bob Gaudio and Jake Holmes?

What could go wrong?

Well, those two albums,
The Genuine Imitation Life Gazette and Watertown
respectively,
would turn out to be the worst-selling albums ever for each artist!

P.S.: I LOVE both of these albums.

Riddle Me This!

Throughout 2021, so far, we've been playing something Nelson-Riddle-related at the top of the 9 AM hour to celebrate what would have been the centennial year of the late, great Nelson Smock Riddle!

On his 100th Birthday, Tuesday, 1 June, we'll dedicate the entire show to his remarkable musical career!

Save the date!

That time, years ago, it seems, when CT State Troubadour Kate Callahan stopped by!
